Lead Toddler Teacher

We are currently looking for inspired and knowledgeable teachers for our school. These are pivotal roles, your contributions will help shape children's lives. You must be energetic and experienced in developing safe, fun and nurturing environments for children. You must be organized, flexible, and able to demonstrate compassion and patience at all times. CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education desirable but not necessary. Only responsible and reliable people need apply!

We are looking for an experienced lead childcare teacher who has completed 20 hours of basic STARS Training and who currently holds a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates will need to have CPR training, 1st Aid training, and a food handler's card as well. A background check is also required.

The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for the provision of an anti-bias, multicultural environment which enhances child development in all areas; social, emotional, intellectual, and physical. The Lead Toddler Teacher will provide activities which encourage independence, futures self-esteem, and respect individuality each child. They will be required to provide leadership, appropriate modeling and mentorship to staff an caregivers in the classroom. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and applies tis understanding to all activities. Must have the ability to relate effectively and work with children, families, community member, and staff with diverse backgrounds. Competence in planning, organizing, scheduling, record keeping, classroom arrangement and management, and staff and parent communications is necessity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
Pay: $12.35 per hour - Opportunity for wage increase
The Lead Teacher reports directly to the center director

Childcare Center Cook

We are looking for a cook who enjoys children, and preparing food. Candidates will need to have a food handlers license, or be willing to obtain one. As a cook, you will prepare healthy and tasty meals and snacks for the children in our center, to ensure our children have the fuel they need to learn and grow.

  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
  • Familiarity with proper conditions and food storage, the ability to understand the needs of children with food allergies, and to implement methods of food cross-contamination avoidance.
  • Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare sufficient quantity of foods for center population
  • Basic math skills required for measuring and calculating serving portions
  • Possess a Food Handler’s License or willingness to obtain
  • Must be physically able to use the computer with basic proficiency and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds is strongly desired and may be required to work in some classrooms or in the kitchen.


  • Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically
  • Order food and supplies
  • Dispense and store medication, as requested
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation according to KinderCare Education and other licensing or regulation requirements
  • Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties, as needed
  • Support your center’s success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
